2023 K MENU’ IN LA SAPIENZA

Following last year’s success at the University of Florence, Korean cuisine will also be featured at the La Sapienza University cafeteria in Rome on May 24 and 25. This initiative is the result of a collaboration between the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation, Vivenda, and Lazio-Disco.

Vivenda’s Quality Manager, Ivan Perrone, noted that this partnership aligns with their commitment to innovative and balanced meal options. The menu will include two traditional Korean dishes: Mandu (steamed dumplings with a vegetable filling) and Bulgogi (grilled beef marinated in soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil). Kimchi, a UNESCO-recognized dish known for its health benefits, will also be served.

The event is part of La Sapienza University’s focus on nutrition science and will involve the newly established course in “Sciences, Cultures, and Gastronomic Policies for Well-being,” in collaboration with the University of Tuscia.
