Here is a treat that brings together dark chocolate and black garlic and that will take you away from the routine, bringing a new take and some originality to the all-time classic chocolate cake. This recipe may seem as a culinary curiosity, but in Korea, someone in love will habitually offer, as a token of their love, black garlic covered in chocolate.

6 lover’s servings:
• 200g 70% dark chocolate
• 120g soft butter
• 3 eggs
• 120g baking sugar
• 60g flour
• 2 tbsp of low-fat cream
• 2 cloves of black garlic
• a pinch of salt
Brake the chocolate squares and melt them in a double boiler, in a stainless-steel bowl or a pan, over low heat with the cream.
Add the crushed black garlic. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Take it out of the heat and let it cool down.
Preheat oven to 200° C.
Mix the butter and the sugar in a small bowl.
Add the chocolate to the garlic, incorporate the eggs one at a time, the flour and the salt.
Using a spatula, mix everything tracing small circle movements.
Cover the bottom of a round cake pan with baking paper. Pour the mix into the cake pan.
Bake for 20 minutes, then let it cool it down completely.
