Find out the recipe for ginger jam cake
Preparation: 15 minutes
• juice from one lemon
• 130g powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 170 °C.
Mix the yoghurt and the yeast in a bowl.
Add the jam, the eggs one at a time, the sugar, the lemon zest and the flour.
Mix everything and add the melted butter and the lemon juice.
Pour the mix in a greased cake pan or in a silicon cake pan.
Bake the cake from 30 to 45mn. To make sure the cake is done, plant a knife at the centre of the cake.
The knife must come out dry. If it doesn’t, let it bake for another 5 minutes.
Take the cake out of the pan and cover it with plastic film. Let it cool in the plastic film.
The plastic film keeps the moist, making sure the cake stays fluffy.
